Executive Summary
The University of Maryland Department of Health Services Administration administers Legacy Corps for Health and Independent Living. Legacy Corps provides in-home respite care to caregiver families of low to moderate incomes in unserved and underserved communities. UMDHSA through Legacy Corps will recruit 632 (167.22 MSYs) quarter time AmeriCorps members at 20 sites in 11states (Florida, New Mexico, Illinois, Utah, New York, California, Minnesota, Ohio, Idaho, Washington and Michigan).
