International Rescue Committee, Inc. (IRC) proposes to implement a national AmeriCorps project focused on strengthening refugee communities in 10 states around the country. IRC requests 36 AmeriCorps to address challenges refugees face in preparing for employment and academic success. By preparing adults for professional growth and youth for full academic participation, IRC's AmeriCorps project will help these new Americans lay a strong foundation for long-term economic security.
