Bard College Master of Arts in Teaching Program

Awarded to one or more exceptional AmeriCorps volunteers who have successfully completed their term of service, this fellowship assists academically-focused, public service-oriented individuals who seek to continue professional work in public education through a 1-year graduate program and urban teaching residency in central Los Angeles leading to a California Single Subject Credential. To qualify, applicants must submit a description of service with application for admission, and if selected, Bard MAT will match any AmeriCorps Segal Award funds that the student wishes to apply towards Bard tuition.
