Use your Segal AmeriCorps Education Award
After successfully completing your AmeriCorps term of service and enrolling in the National Service Trust, you are eligible to receive the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award. You can use the award to repay qualified student loans and to pay current educational expenses at eligible institutions of higher education and training programs.
Schools of National Service
Colleges and universities across the country acknowledge the value of service by joining Schools of National Service. These schools offer education award matches or other financial incentives to support AmeriCorps alumni. They can also recruit from our pool of driven and civic-minded alumni.
Help recruit members and volunteers
Pay it forward by helping others learn about their opportunity to serve
- Present to a high school, college, or university classroom
- Set up a table at a college campus or career fair
- Order materials to help promote AmeriCorps
- Hang flyers in a local coffee shop
- Host or invite a friend to a National Day of Service
