In September 2022, staff at Elder Care Services came together to clean up the street that we adopted from the City of Tallahassee as part of our effort to honor those lost in the September 11 attacks. The AmeriCorps Seniors Senior Volunteer Program spearheaded this project. We picked up several large bags of debris from the street and enjoyed our time together while honoring the 9/11 Day of Service. It was also a great team building exercise, and we committed to continue this project once every four months.
