Hannah Dufford

Deputy Chief Financial Officer
Hannah Dufford serves as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at AmeriCorps, where she leads the implementation of the agency's Financial and Operational Reform plan. Dufford sets the strategic vision and provides advisement and direction to the budget, accounting, financial management, procurement, and trust operations offices in support of the agency's mission.
Dufford joined AmeriCorps in 2018 and has held several positions in financial management and operations. Before joining AmeriCorps, Dufford was the Administrative Director for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services in Panama and Director of Management and Operations for the Peace Corps in Moldova and Myanmar (Burma). Previous roles also included working at the Peace Corps headquarters in Washington, D.C., as desk officer for Peace Corps programs in North Africa, the Middle East, and the Caucasus. Prior to federal service, Dufford served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the youth development program in Guatemala.
Dufford earned a Master of Business Administration in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish from Whitworth University.
