Safety and Security
AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers have the expectation and the right to serve in a safe environment, and to be treated with dignity and respect. AmeriCorps expects all program leaders and grantees to create safe service environments for our members and volunteers.
If you are experiencing a threat to your safety or security, and you are not comfortable discussing the matter with your program leaders, sponsor supervisors, or local law enforcement officials, you can contact our National Service Hotline at: 1-800-942-2677

Disability and Accessibility

The Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) and AmeriCorps created guidance and resources to promote national service as an option for all Americans, including those with disabilities.
