CONCORD, N.H.  – The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the federal volunteer agency that administers AmeriCorps and Senior Corps programs, will hold a grand opening event for its new regional office in Concord, N.H. on Thursday, Nov. 14.

This opening event will feature remarks from CNCS CEO Barbara Stewart, Director of Senior Corps Deborah Cox-Roush, Northeast Regional Administrator Maggie Garvey, as well as testimonials from local Senior Corps and AmeriCorps programs. The event will be filled with grantees and national service supporters from across the region.

The Northeast Region office is one of eight new regional offices that will connect communities with resources through the AmeriCorps and Senior Corps programs, in collaboration with governor-appointed state service commissions. The new office will serve seven states across the region: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
