Intensive tutoring is considered one of the most effective ways to help students recover lost academic ground due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. In support of this, President Biden has pledged to leverage AmeriCorps to bring in an additional 250,000 new tutors and mentors to U.S. schools during the next three years.
