Local chapter awarded prestigious AmeriCorps award

The Native and Indigenous Leadership in Service Award was given to the Chinle Chapter in Chinle, Arizona, for its outstanding contributions to the local community. The Chinle Chapter completes important work like providing shelter and disaster relief. It received a grant of $347,000 from AmeriCorps State and National. Read more in Navajo Times.
