As we continue our recovery from the Covid-19 Pandemic, we need to grow our nation’s public health workforce to help build a more resilient future. We also need a diverse workforce of public health professionals who reflect the communities in which they serve. Public Health AmeriCorps, a new partnership between AmeriCorps and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will recruit and train the next generation of public health leaders and close employment gaps.
