Dear Colleagues,

This afternoon, the Senate voted 56-37 to pass the Conference Report for the Fiscal 2008 Labor-HHS-Education Appropriations bill, which includes funding for the Corporation. Before voting on final passage, the Senate removed the Military Construction-Veterans Administration fundingbill,which was part of the Conference Report approved by the House. Therefore, the revised Conference Report must go back to the House for another vote. Please see the budget section of our website for details. We will continue to keep you updated on further action.
