The Diana R. Garland School of Social Work in Waco, TX prepares graduates to serve in a wide range of public and private settings, from schools and hospitals to prisons and foundations, with a diverse group of human service organizations in between. One of the competencies Baylor social workers develop is the ethical integration of faith and social work practice. This means preparing students to serve in congregations, religiously-affiliated and other faith-based organizations. In partnership with the Truett Theological Seminary and the Hankamer School of Business, students can also pursue a joint degree in Waco, TX.
