Founded in 1915, our graduate programs include the Master of Science in Social Administration (MSSA, equivalent to an MSW), Ph.D. in Social Welfare, a Master of Nonprofit Organizations, and dual degree programs with Social Work and Public Health, Law, Business, Bioethics, and Nonprofit Management.

The MSSA social work concentrations of study include: Community Practice for Social Change; Mental Health with Adults; Mental Health with Children and Adolescents; Children, Youth and Families; Alcohol & Drug Abuse; Aging; and Health. Certificates include: Management and Leadership; Nonprofit Management; School Social Work; Gerontology; and Global Health.

AmeriCorps Alumni will receive special consideration for Mandel School scholarship support, ranging from partial-tuition scholarships to the full-tuition Leadership Fellows Program (partial tuition scholarships range from $10,000 to $45,000). For AmeriCorps alumni not receiving a partial tuition scholarship, the Mandel School will provide a one-for-one AmeriCorps tuition award match. The Mandel School also provides a stipend to full time on-campus MSSA students enrolled in field work. There is no application fee to apply to our programs.
