As a School of National Service, the not-for-profit Golden Gate University is committed to helping the next generation of community leaders get the affordable, high-quality education they deserve. AmeriCorps students admitted to the Degrees+ program will get a head start on their degree with college credits for their service:

• 1,200+ service hours = up to 12 credits for general electives
• 600 service hours = up to 6 credits for general electives
• 300 service hours = up to 3 credits for general electives

With Degrees+ powered by Outlier.org, students earn an associate degree plus a job-ready professional certificate—100% online, on their schedule. AmeriCorps students save up to 20% off their total cost and graduate a semester earlier with the transfer credits for their service. Plus, Degrees+ is purposely priced so that students who qualify for the average Pell Grant, employer benefits, or military benefits could get the rest of Degrees+ all-inclusive tuition fully funded.*
