Helena College University of Montana is a comprehensive two-year college in Montana’s capital city offering over 30 degrees and certificates. Helena College is proud to offer an AmeriCorps Matching Tuition Scholarship to qualified AmeriCorps students in recognition of academic potential, involvement in community activities, service, and leadership. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded each year to go towards tuition. The scholarship may only be used during the fall and spring terms and requires the successful candidates to be full-time, degree-seeking students who are receiving the AmeriCorps award. Preference will be given to Montana residents. Students must be admitted and submit a regular scholarship application in order to be considered. Students who do not complete at least 12 credit hours per semester and maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA will forfeit the scholarship.
