Monmouth University School of Social Work is built around the ideals of advancing human rights and social justice.
Ranked as one of the top social work programs in the country by U.S. News & World Report, the school offers a Bachelors of Social Work (BSW) and a graduate Master of Social Work (MSW) with two concentrations; 1) Global and Community Practice and, 2) Clinical Practice with Families and Children. All students get hands-on experience in the field and engage in practice at all levels, including working with individuals, communities, and government.
In recognition of the volunteer service provided through the AmeriCorps program, Monmouth University School of Social Work is committed to offering a $8,190 graduate assistantship (equivalent to 6 credits) to one exceptional AmeriCorps volunteers who has successfully completed their term of service. To qualify, applicants must submit a description of service (DOS) along with a completed application for admission.
