New York University Silver School of Social Work

The Silver School of Social Work at New York University awards approximately $8 million in scholarships each year, resulting in 95 percent of eligible students receiving scholarship. This commitment of funds permits a diversity of students to pursue professional training here, and it creates a student body with a mix of backgrounds that enriches the learning environment and personal experiences of all. The Silver School is pleased to match the full Segal AmeriCorps Education Award to AmeriCorps members and alumni provided they enroll in one of our full-time MSW programs. The School may offer more scholarship depending upon the strength of the MSW application. Additional scholarships are available to full-time and part-time students during the field-learning phase of their program.  The Silver School also offers admission deferral to those applying for admission prior to beginning AmeriCorps service. All AmeriCorps members and alumni are eligible for an application fee waiver.
