Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs waives three credit hours per year of service (up to 6 credit hours) from the degree requirements of all AmeriCorps alumni.

Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs offers graduate programs in nonprofit management and philanthropic studies on the Indianapolis and Bloomington campuses. The 48-credit hour Master of Public Affairs offers a concentration in nonprofit management. Programs in nonprofit management were ranked 1st and 6th respectively by U.S. News and World Report. The 36-credit hour Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies is awarded by the Center on Philanthropy through the Indiana University School of Liberal Arts in Indianapolis. It is the first master’s degree program in the United States to focus on the history, culture, and values of philanthropy. Students can also combine the two programs, earning both MPA and MA degrees, in 60 credit hours of courses. A limited amount of financial aid is available for students who qualify.
