AmeriCorps alumni are eligible for a 20 percent tuition discount, with no application fee, on all master's level graduate degree and certificate programs through SJU's Mission Discount Program (excluding PT, OT, PA, and PharmD). Founded in 1851 in the heart of Philadelphia and in the Jesuit tradition of academic excellence, Saint Joseph’s University prepares students for a rapidly changing and unpredictable world. Through a rigorous, perspective-expanding education, Saint Joseph’s undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students are mentored by thought-leading faculty scholars, exposed to a curriculum that allows for radical program combinations and demands exploration. The University boasts three locations: a 125-acre campus providing both urban and suburban experiences, home to the world-renowned Barnes Arboretum; a 24-acre campus in University City, which is home to the  IPEX center, offering simulation labs, classrooms and learning spaces for the Health Professions Programs (PT, OT, PA, and PharmD); and a new Lancaster location, (formerly PA College of Health Sciences) which offers a number of nursing and allied health programs, providing students with immersive simulation experiences mirroring real-world clinical settings with high-fidelity patient simulators, replica hospital rooms and advanced monitoring capabilities. Upon graduation, nearly 100 percent of students are employed, pursuing advanced degrees or volunteering in prestigious service programs.
