A one-time payment of $1000 will be paid each year to the first AmeriCorps alumnus who registers for a full semester Seminole State Global Service Corps international internship.

These internships consist of a service-learning program assisting with community development programs in Cambodia. Interns assist local community organizations on projects focusing on child and orphan care, public health, teaching English, and leadership training. Interns receive cultural orientation, project training, and guest lectures during the semester. The program includes cultural immersion experiences through homestays, visits to historical places of interest, working together with Cambodian community organization staff, and a week-long stay at a Buddhist monastery.
