SUNY Oneonta

SUNY (State University of New York at Oneonta) Oneonta waives application fees for AmeriCorps alumni at both the undergraduate and graduate level. We will also provide the option to defer admission into our undergraduate programs for up to one year for eligible AmeriCorps alumni. AmeriCorps alumni can have their service reviewed through our Prior Learning Assessment and potentially receive academic credit.

SUNY Oneonta will award scholarships to AmeriCorps alumni receiving the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award, up to five (5) $1,000 scholarships at the undergraduate level and up to two (2) $2,500 scholarships at the graduate level.

* Please note that it is SUNY Oneonta’s scholarship policy that students remain in full time status to continue receiving their award.
