The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University partners with AmeriCorps in its Master of Public Service and Administration (MPSA) and Master of International Affairs (MIA) degrees at its main campus in College Station*.

The Public Service & Administration and International Affairs programs pay the MPSA and MIA application fee for AmeriCorps applicants ($89 savings), provide priority consideration in the admissions process, grant aid of $7,000 or more each year for full-time service (which covers 50-100% of tuition/required fees), provide a non-resident tuition waiver for non-Texans (worth nearly $13,000 per year), offer one-year enrollment deferrals, and can possibly waive the required professional internship requirement for seasoned AmeriCorps alumni.

In year two, first-year awards are renewable by maintaining a 3.25 GPA, OR students can apply for graduate assistant (GA) positions that replace their first-year award. We value AmeriCorps alumni, and many competitive applicants receive awards that exceed $10,000 (a few with full-ride offers).

*This Bush School agreement does not extend to our combined degrees, online or executive level degrees, DC campus degrees, or online certificates. The agreement only extended to the College Station campus MPSA and MIA degrees.
