Thomas Edison State University provides flexible, high-quality, collegiate learning opportunities for self-directed adults. The University was established by the State of New Jersey and chartered by the New Jersey Board of Higher Education in 1972.
   
In recognition of the volunteer service provided through the AmeriCorps program, the Thomas Edison State University Foundation is committed to offering a $1,000 scholarship to at least one (1) AmeriCorps eligible alumnus per calendar year. To be considered for the scholarship, the recipient must have applied to, or be enrolled in one of the university’s undergraduate degree programs and be in good academic standing. AmeriCorps certification must accompany the university’s scholarship application.
