The Department of Urban Planning and Policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) offers a $2500 award per academic year for two years to newly enrolled AmeriCorps alumni in the Master in Urban Planning and Policy program. The Department offers a one-time $2500 award to newly enrolled AmeriCorps alumni in the Master of City Design program.


Eligibility: Recipients must be a new admit to graduate study at UIC. Recipients must show proof of AmeriCorps or VISTA service. Recipients must have served full-time for at least 12 months to receive award. Students must be enrolled full-time for the duration of their program to receive the award.
