At the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, admitted AmeriCorps alumni can be awarded a merit scholarship that matches the value of their Segal Award. Often, however, admitted AmeriCorps alumni receive scholarships larger in value than their Segal Award(s), in which case the Segal Award match is built into the overall value of the scholarship.

In addition, any qualified applicant planning to submit a complete application by January 15 may request an application fee waiver. Applicants wishing to be considered for an application fee waiver should send their request to hhhadmit@umn.edu and outline their AmeriCorps Service, current status, and indicate a plan to complete their application by the January 15 deadline.
