The USC Lancaster AmeriCorps Tuition Scholarship program provides a Tuition Reduction of up to $500 per semester to students using their Segal AmeriCorps Education Awards (National Service Award) towards their cost of attendance. The amount awarded cannot exceed the amount of Segal AmeriCorps Education funds applied towards the student's cost of attendance, nor can it exceed the $500 per semester limit. The lifetime limit for this award is $5,000. To be eligible recipients must: be admitted to the university, be a South Carolina Resident, be enrolled at least half time (6 credit hours per semester), and have at least a 2.500 Collegiate GPA (first time freshmen do not have a GPA requirement and must ONLY have a valid High School Diploma or valid GED).
