To be eligible, students must be nominated by WVU Extension Services. Students must be incoming first-time freshmen who have a high school GPA of at least 3.0 and an ACT composite score of at least 21 or combined SAT of 1070 (Evidence-Based Reading & Writing and Math score only).

The maximum semester value is $250. Students must be enrolled full-time each semester. Students may receive the scholarship for a maximum of 4 semesters toward an associate program or 8 semesters toward a bachelor’s program (or completion of a bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first). To renew, students must earn 30 credit hours per academic year and maintain an overall 2.75 GPA.
