Annabelle is an AmeriCorps member with the VISTA program at the Colonel's Cupboard. This is Eastern Kentucky University’s community service program that offers food, clothes, toiletries, and additional resources to students who need help. Annabelle ensures college students who need help receive it.
“Every day, I see students make hard sacrifices to continue their education which is why I want to help them succeed in any way possible.
A student once mentioned to me they would not be able to stay at Eastern Kentucky University without us. That student is graduating this spring.
Hearing appreciation like this motivates me to continue serving and reminds me why I am proud to be an AmeriCorps member."
