Boston Coaching for Completion (BosC4C)

Success Boston/Boston Coaching for Completion (BosC4C) is a city-wide collaborative of the Boston Foundation and several regional higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations. These groups partnered together to focus on boosting college persistence and ultimately improving college completion rates for Boston’s public school graduates. The program’s one-on-one transition coaching model offers sustained, responsive, and proactive support for students in their first two years of college. The coaching is provided through local non-profits.

GreenLight Fund - College Advising Corps @ Boston University

College Advising Corps @ Boston University (CAC) strives to increase the number of low-income, first-generation college, and underrepresented students entering and completing higher education. CAC recruits and trains recent college graduates from partner higher education institutions to serve as full-time advisers. Through a 2013 Social Innovation Fund grant, CAC provided college advisers in 33 Boston public high schools and in one additional Boston area charter school.
