Celebrate Veterans and Hometown Heroes

To highlight the incredible impact AmeriCorps programs create, the 30th anniversary celebrations will spotlight key areas of service each month. November's theme is Veterans and Hometown Heroes. We commit to assisting our nation's veterans and military families through service, connecting them to education opportunities, jobs, and resources needed to transition to civilian life. More than 15,000 veterans serve in AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps Seniors each year applying the skills they acquired in the military to respond to disasters, build homes, mentor youth, support other veterans, and more.
