We are facing a youth mental health crisis, with one in three high school students reporting persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness. Together with Pinterest and the Schultz Family Foundation, AmeriCorps launched Youth Mental Health Corps to address this crisis head-on.

CDC rolls out plan to boost public health workforce

CDC Director, Rochelle Walensky, announced a tranche of grants aimed at building up the U.S. public health workforce through an initiative called Public Health AmeriCorps. The partnership between the CDC and AmeriCorps will fund up to 5,000 positions over the next five years, bolstering an under-resourced workforce. Read more from politico.com.
