Choose AmeriCorps NCCC for a diverse path of professional growth, gaining meaningful experiences as a team leader (no age limit) or AmeriCorps member (ages 18-26) in one of our four program areas: 

  • Traditional Corps: Try hands-on service and collaboration with multiple sponsors to conserve energy, improve infrastructure, or respond to natural and other disasters.  
  • FEMA Corps: Work alongside FEMA in disaster preparedness and response to assist disaster survivors, manage logistics, and provide public assistance, among other duties. 
  • Forest Corps: Receive rigorous training with the U.S. Forest Service for future careers in environmental conservation and fire mitigation.  
  • Summer of Service: Serve with a shorter version of one of our programs.
