Public Lands Service Coalition Partnership Impact Evaluation Final Report

The Corps Network (TCN) places AmeriCorps members with organizations and government agencies to contribute to environmental stewardship projects in communities across the country. TCN members build and maintain trails, campgrounds, boat docks, and other outdoor recreation facilities. They eliminate invasive species, remove hazardous fuels, and restore critical ecosystems and habitats at national and state forests and parks.

Return on Investment Study: Community Technology Empowerment Project

The Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP) helps increase work-readiness skills among new immigrants and members of low-income communities in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Metropolitan Area. The program provides participants with the latest technology skills to help them gain sustainable employment and improve their civic, educational, and social opportunities. AmeriCorps members provide CTEP participants one-on-one mentoring and training to improve their digital skills and technology literacy.

AmeriCorps LEAP Initiative Year 1 Evaluation Report October 2017 - January 2018

The Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation (SMIF) Early Childhood Development division administered the AmeriCorps Learning Early Achieves Potential (LEAP) initiative in southern Minnesota. The initiative sought to improve school readiness of preschool children who attend Head Start centers that were falling in the gap of the school-readiness skillset.

Positive Disruption: The Promise of the Opportunity Reboot Model

Opportunity youth often face a large range of complex issues, such as homelessness, chemical dependency, mental health issues, learning disabilities, and health disparities perpetrated by a range of systemic issues. To address these issues in Minnesota, Youthprise partnered with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) Office of Youth Development, Search Institute, and MENTOR Minnesota to develop a technical assistance and program enhancement model, Opportunity Reboot.

Evaluation of a Math Tutoring Program Implemented with Community Support: A Systematic Replication & Extension

The Minnesota Math Corps program is an intervention program for students in grades four through eight that uses AmeriCorps members to deliver math intervention support to struggling students. It provides schools with materials for implementing evidence-based interventions, recruits and trains tutors and school staff, and engages in ongoing coaching.

AmeriCorps Promise Fellow Program Minnesota Alliance With Youth Impact Evaluation Report

The Minnesota Alliance With Youth (the Alliance) goal is to increase graduation rates by hosting AmeriCorps members through the AmeriCorps Promise Fellow program created to address the early indications of disengagement from school. AmeriCorps members are placed in schools and community sites across Minnesota where they are assigned Focus Lists of up to 30 qualifying students, who are in grades 6 through 12 and off track to graduate.

The mission of CoL is to provide Long-Term English Learners (LTEL) access to grade-level content through dedicated and rigorous language learning support. Their mission for members is to build a learning community through service, reflection and inquiry.

The Minnesota Reading Corps (MN RC) program is a statewide AmeriCorps early literacy initiative. It aims to foster early literacy skills of children to ensure reading proficiency by the end of third grade. MN RC and its host organization, Reading & Math, Inc. (RMI), aim to address the resource gaps within under-resourced schools by bringing AmeriCorps members into preschool (Pre-K) classrooms to provide literacy enrichment and tutoring services for specific at-risk students.
