Montana Encouraging AmeriCorps and Peace Corps Alumni to Explore Careers with State Government

 

Cities, states, and nonprofits among those who will receive funding 

WASHINGTON, DC – The Corporation for National and Community Service’s (CNCS) Social Innovation Fund (SIF) today announced 27 subgrantee organizations selected to receive technical assistance services through its Pay for Success (PFS) grant program. The funding will advance and evaluate innovative PFS projects in fields ranging from early childhood interventions to chronic homelessness.

 

WASHINGTON, DC – The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) today announced more than $17, 200,000 in funding to support organizations and nonprofits across the nation. The organizations will leverage the experience and skills of Senior Corps RSVP volunteers who serve in schools, disaster response initiatives, veterans’ organizations, and other areas.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) today released a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) of up to $51 million for the 2015 grant competition of the Social Innovation Fund (SIF).

WASHINGTON, DC – To honor the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service and Dr. King’s life and legacy, the President and First Lady, the Vice President, Cabinet Secretaries, and other Senior Administration Officials will participate in community service projects and events.  The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service is an opportunity for all Americans to honor Dr. King by coming together to help meet the needs of their communities and re-commit to service throughout the year.
